The Italian publisher La Stampa announced an agreement with Simplicissimus Book Farm for the development of a newspaper version for the iLiad reader. The iLiad reader is a portable device which provides a similar reading experience to traditional newspapers. The news from the electronic paper is available anytime and anywhere. Subscribers to the iLiad version of La Stampa receive the news daily. Furthermore the device enables the user to browse through the pages and the articles of the newspaper by clicking on titles and summaries and to highlight and annotate interesting phrases and passages. An included search engine function allows the reader to easily search for articles in archived issues. All articles can also be enlarged on the screen for ease of reading. Moreover you can select and archive electronic clippings for a personal and individual archive without wasting storage space.
